Melcaior Jean (50years old at the time of the shot):

Jean was born in Luxembourg in December 1966. He first lived in Luxemburg then in Germany with his wife.when they got divorced he wanted to come back, but he wasn't able to continue his life in Luxembourg. He told me that he has lived on the street for 15 years... He told me that one of the biggest troubles he had was to be accepted in society as he is, ' A homeless'. While we were talking he often said that he likes to help people and that he wants everybody to give their best in life. (During the interview Jean and I got harassed by a gypsy who was against my project)

Frantz Raphael:

Frantz worked for a big supplier in Luxemburg, who went bankrupt in January 2016 as a consequence he lost his job. The social office pays the bills of the home where he lives and he sometimes gets send to work from the government to companies in order to earn a bit of money, ' It's just enough to have the head over the water'.  (He was actually the first homeless/human in needs I took a photo of for this project)

Philippe:

Philippe lives on the street since 5 years, 'It was very hard at the beginning but I got used to it'. He sleeps where he can and told me that he never got in trouble with the police for sleeping at a public area. In the summer he sits/lays often at a bench of this park. I saw him so often that I wanted to know who he is, today I still don't really know who he is because he did not talk a lot about his past, which I respect. ( He actually was the reason why started this )

Ludvic:

Ludvic is a man from the Czech Republic he broke up with his girlfriend a bit more than 2 years ago. He wanted to go away from his country and came 2 years ago to Luxemburg to find a job but he didn't find one. Since that moment he lives on the street and tryies to fish for some money (as you can see in the shot I took) he sleeps next to the bank at the Hamilius.

This is Aly Lutgen, he is 54 and he has been living on the street for 7 years.

He worked as informatician, when he one day decided to quit his job and create a life outside of the society in a special place from the governement like in other countries... Unfortunately such a place doesn't exists in Luxemburg. Here you are forced to get RMG but he refused it because he doesn't want people to work for him.
The only thing he wants is just a bit of privacy (2m^2) where he can live in peace and safety. 'Crime is becoming a routine.', he told me. 'A life as a luxemburger is everything but getting personal stuff (like his laptop) destroyed and getting things stolen.' Thank you for sharing and your honesty Aly.
